Who is ASIC?
The Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) is Australia’s corporate, markets and financial services regulator. Under the Corporations Act 2001, companies are required to fulfil certain requirements and maintain their financial records. Maintaining ASIC compliance is as important as maintaining your taxation compliance. Failure to do so can result in significant penalties.

Martin & White Accountants & Business Advisors offer ASIC and Corporate Services to our clients.
As an ASIC registered agent, we’re familiar with ASIC conditions and can assist you with preparing and lodging your forms, reports and statements, to ensure you are always compliant and meeting your obligations.
What we can offer you?
We can offer you a flat annual fee to act as your ASIC agent and manage your annual responsibilities. This will include:
- Bi-annual ASIC reviews – to ensure your details are up to date
- Annual ASIC statements and invoices forwarded to you via email
- Monitoring of ASIC debtor accounts – and advising if you have missed a payment
- Preparation and lodgement of ASIC form 484 to advise of change of address for business, registered office, directors or shareholders – limited to 2 per annum (additional forms at an extra charge)
In our service, we cover all software, labour, and associated costs, and provide all documents to you in a timely manner. (Note: ASIC Annual levy is still payable by you direct to ASIC.)
Martin & White Accountants & Business Advisors can also assist with other corporate services such as:
- Initial ASIC registration (company set up)
- Business name registrations and renewals
- Transferring/ issuing of shares
- Company deregistration
